We swear it will be less snowy in May…

We strongly recommend you book in our reserved block! We’ve preselected this hotel for our guests out of very few in the immediate area for their cleanliness, amenities, and good rate.

Rooms in our block are available for the evenings of May 16 & 17, but let us know if you’d like to extend your stay and we may be able to negotiate the preferred rate for additional nights on your behalf. Booking in our block is now closed!

Transportation to the ceremony/reception

Metro North Commuter Railroad

Trains run on Metro North’s Hudson Line to the Yonkers station about every hour. The trip from Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan is about 30 minutes and the Yonkers train station is a block and a half away from the venue. Tickets cost $7.50 each way to/from Grand Central – buy in the station to get this price. Check the train schedule here.

Bus

Many Westchester Bee Line Bus routes stop in downtown Yonkers, just a block and a half from the venue. Buses accept Metro Cards or exact change (the fare will be $2.75 a ride in May). Check schedules, since frequency will be less on Sundays. View the Bee Line Bus map here (PDF) – in the Downtown Yonkers inset, our venue is by the little loop road just below the words “Yonkers Station.”

By car

Valet parking is available at the venue for $3. Some metered, street parking is available as well. See a Google Map for directions or use the address 71 Water Grant Street, Yonkers, NY in your GPS.

Coming from out of town

Flying

You can fly in to any of the New York area airports, but the Westchester County Airport (HPN) in White Plains is most convenient to the venue and lets you completely bypass city traffic. You’ll want to take a car or cab from there to the hotel or venue.

Driving

We recommend that if your drive takes you through any of the 5 boroughs of NYC, you avoid rush hour as much as possible for your own sanity! If coming from west of the Hudson River, the Tappan Zee Bridge can be a less congested alternative to the George Washington Bridge. See a Google Map for directions or use the address 71 Water Grant Street, Yonkers, NY in your GPS.

Train

Amtrak‘s Ethan Allen Express, Empire Service, Maple Leaf, and Adirondack routes stop at the Yonkers train station, a block and a half away from the venue.
